How to Submit a Ticket via the Portal
This guide will go over how to submit a Ticket via the Freshservice Portal. However, when possible, it is preferred that you submit items through Service Requests. Service Requests cover the majority of cases and will be specifically routed to the correct department and team.
Please only submit tickets if there is no matching Service Request. Please read this guide for help submitting a Service Request.
Step-by-Step Guide for Submitting a Ticket:
1. Go to the Support Portal
Navigate to: https://uchicagopme.freshservice.com/support/home
2. Log In
Click on 'Login' and sign in using your CNet credentials.
Note: You must be logged in to see all available articles, although a limited number of articles are accessible without logging in.

3. Click 'Report an Issue'

4. Fill in the relevant fields

You must select if your issue is related to IT, HR, Finance, or Facilities. Much like writing an email, you must add a subject and a description of your issue. Please be as specific as possible. You can also attach files. Finally, put the email you want responses to go to in the Requester field.
The panel on the right will also show related articles, in case your issue is a common one!
